Recently, one of my friends complains to me about her very close friend. They have known each other for 14 years since they were 7. They experienced variety of incredible incidents in these 14 years. There is a saying; a friend in need is a friend indeed. They thought they own a real friendship definitely. As everybody said, their friendship was so steady that cannot be affected easily. It was, but, not now. They are totally strangers at the moment.
Fate always makes fun of us. Friends at the moment can be enemies the next minutes. So funny! As to me, nothing can be much more miserable than it. Let’s explore what happened between my friend Min and her friend Wing.
Wing was unemployed for several months. She spent all of her deposit out while stay in Tianjin. She called Min to complain about it and asked her for help. With the sympathy of Wing’s miserable situation, Min recommended Wing to her manager to be the receptionist of their company. 3 weeks later, Wing became Min’s colleague. Min thought that Wing should appreciate it and cherish the job very much. But things went to the other side which Min would never imagine about.
Min told me, Wing’s jealousy personality made her to be separated by other co-workers. She judged her workmates with meant words. She can snap at anyone at any situations with any reasons. The worst thing was, she never care about breaking the rules and restrictions of the company but doing what she liked.
“I never think about she can be such a freak since working together with her!” Min complained.
“Now she succeeds in making every workmates hate her so much and keeping far away from her.” Min saying this with a forced smile.
I can understand how upset Min would be. It can be a nightmare for her. A friendship has been lasted over 14 years stopped moving forward when it almost reached the year of 15.
Each time after Wing made some mistakes or did some stupid things, Min would do anything she can to make things not that bad. Wing should appreciate she has Min to be her friend. Un fortunately, Wing took it as granted.
The signal for their relationship’s break was the day the CEO of the company came. Min had told Min not to wear the skintight T-shirt on that day because the receptionists represented the image of the company. It was important to make people felt impressive of our company. It flipped Wing out. She felt she was being looked down upon by Min so much. If someone asked Wing to do something with an order tongue, she would definitely mess it up. This was her attribute. Wing welcomes the CEO with a short skintight T-shirt. It was such a big satire to Min and of course, the CEO. Wing finally gets a mouth warning for the immature behavior.
Min would never think about that was only a beginning. From that day on, Wing did everything to the other side from what Min told her to do. Wing avenged Min for Min didn’t say anything for her on that incident which Min actually did say something for her.
“I am done on these and her.” Min said, “I can’t believe she judges me as a geek so judgmental!” So, Min gave up defending this friendship any more.
It’s regrettable for this long time friendship. What did your guys get from the story? As to me, the point is to be honest and faithful to your friends.
